TKWL-1400 Series 80GHz Radar Level Gauge
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”The TKWL-1400 Series 80GHz Radar Level Gauge is a W-band 76-81 GHz FMCW radar product supporting two-wire and four-wire applications. It outputs 4-20 mA analog signals and can measure up to 120 m.
With higher frequency and shorter wavelength, it is especially suitable for solid applications. The lens antenna design provides advantages in high dust and harsh temperature environments, with threaded or flanged mounting for easy installation.
Product Principle
Section titled “Product Principle”The instrument uses frequency modulated continuous wave technology. The antenna sensor emits a continuous microwave signal whose frequency is linearly modulated. When the signal reaches the measured medium surface, part of the energy is reflected and received by the lens antenna system. The frequency difference between transmitted and received signals is proportional to the distance to the medium surface.

Model Selection
Section titled “Model Selection”- Electrical entry: M20×1.5, 1/2NPT or customized.
- Enclosure material: cast aluminum or stainless steel.
- Electronic components: 4-20 mA/HART with 24 VDC two-wire, 24 VDC four-wire or 220 VAC four-wire options.
- Sealing temperature depends on model, including standard and high-temperature sealing with radiator.
- Process connection includes G1-1/2, G3-1/2 and DN50 to DN150 flanges, with customization available.
- Explosion protection: ordinary type or explosion-proof type.
