Power Cable with PVC Insulation up to 1kV

Power cables with PVC insulation are designed for AC low-voltage transmission and distribution systems rated up to 0.6/1kV. Copper or aluminium conductors are available, with steel tape or steel wire armour for underground installation and mechanical protection. Five-core cables can separate the neutral and protective conductors in low-voltage distribution systems.

  • AC power circuits rated up to 0.6/1kV.
  • Fixed installation indoors, in cable trenches, conduits and underground routes.
  • Distribution systems requiring unarmoured, steel-tape armoured or steel-wire armoured cables.
  • Maximum long-term conductor operating temperature: 70℃.
  • During a short circuit of up to 5s, the maximum conductor temperature is 160℃ for conductor areas up to 300mm² and 140℃ above 300mm².
  • Installation temperature is not lower than 0℃.
  • PVC or PE sheaths and several armour constructions can be selected for the installation method.
