1199 Remote Transmitting Diaphragm Sealing System
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”The 1199 Remote Transmitting Diaphragm Sealing System is used with TK3051CD or TK3051T transmitters to separate the process medium from the transmitter sensor and electronics. Pressure is transferred through the diaphragm, fill fluid and capillary tube, making the system suitable for process connections that should not directly contact the transmitter.
Applications
Section titled “Applications”- Corrosive media that may attack the transmitter connection or sensing element.
- High-temperature media requiring separation from the transmitter.
- Media containing solids or media that may block or crystallize.
- Processes requiring regular flushing, cleaning or process connection replacement.
- Hygienic processes where contamination control is important.
- Installations where the transmitter must be mounted away from the process connection.
Product Features
Section titled “Product Features”- Process isolation: The diaphragm contacts the process medium while the transmitter body remains isolated.
- Remote installation: Pressure is transferred through the capillary tube, allowing the transmitter to be installed in a cooler or more accessible position.
- Selectable wetted materials: Diaphragms are available in 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy C-276, tantalum, Monel or titanium.
- Multiple structures: Threaded, flat, flange-mounted and inserted cylindrical remote sealing structures are available.
- Media compatibility: Silicone oil, DC-200, Syltherm 704 or propylene glycol can be selected according to temperature and vacuum conditions.

Flange Configuration
Section titled “Flange Configuration”1199RFW is available with 1, 1-1/2, 2 or 3 inch sizes and 150 lb, 300 lb or 600 lb ratings. The lower sleeve can be selected in 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy C or carbon steel. 1199EFW can use 3 or 4 inch insertion cylinders with 50 lb, 300 lb or 600 lb flange ratings.

- Capillary remote installation.
Confirm the process connection, diaphragm material, capillary length, flange specification, flushing connection and fill fluid before ordering. Vacuum service also requires confirmation of the fill-fluid and process-temperature combination.
