Surface Thermocouple (Thermal Resistor)

Surface Thermocouple (Thermal Resistor) is used for temperature measurement on boiler tube walls, furnace walls, pipelines, and other cylindrical surfaces. It uses components with a diameter of 3-6 mm as the temperature probe. The measuring end can be assembled with a temperature-sensing piece and fixed to the measured surface by welding, screws, magnets, or hoops.

For curved measurement points such as furnace walls and pipelines, the temperature-sensing piece can be shaped to match the measured surface for contact temperature measurement.

  • Boiler tube wall temperature measurement.
  • Furnace wall temperature measurement.
  • Temperature measurement on pipelines and other cylindrical surfaces.
  • For curved-surface temperature measurement: the temperature-sensing piece can conform to furnace walls, pipelines, and other cylindrical surfaces.
  • Multiple fixing methods: welding, screws, magnets, and hoop fixing to suit site installation conditions.
  • Different response characteristics: for the boiler wall thermocouple, thermal response time is not greater than 0.85 s for Shell Type and not greater than 2.5 s for Insulation Type; for the hoop thermocouple, it is not greater than 2 s for Shell Type and not greater than 6 s for Insulation Type.
  • Multiple graduations and sleeve diameters: K, N, and E graduations, with sleeve diameters of Phi4, Phi5, and Phi6 mm.
  • Weld the temperature-sensing piece to the equipment.
  • Fix the temperature-sensing piece to the equipment with bolts.
  • Fix with magnets.
  • Fix with hoops.

For the boiler wall thermocouple, the technical parameter table lists welding or bolting; the hoop thermocouple uses hoop fixing.
