Power Cable with XLPE Insulation up to 35kV
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”Power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation are designed for 50Hz AC transmission and distribution systems rated up to 35kV. They are suitable for fixed installation indoors, in tunnels, cable trenches, conduits and underground routes. XLPE insulation provides stable electrical performance together with mechanical strength, heat-aging resistance, weather resistance and chemical resistance.
Applications
Section titled “Applications”- AC transmission and distribution systems from 0.6/1kV to 26/35kV.
- Fixed installation indoors, in cable trenches, tunnels, conduits and underground routes.
- Power systems requiring copper or aluminium conductors with armoured or unarmoured constructions.
Product Features
Section titled “Product Features”- Maximum long-term conductor operating temperature: 90℃.
- Maximum conductor temperature during a short circuit: 250℃ for up to 5s.
- Installation temperature: not lower than 0℃.
- Minimum bending radius: 15D/12D for unarmoured/armoured multicore cables and 20D/15D for unarmoured/armoured single-core cables.
- PVC, PE or polyolefin sheaths and steel tape, steel wire or non-magnetic metal armour are available.
