Coaxial Cable with Physically Foamed PE Insulation for Cable Distribution System

This coaxial cable with physically foamed polyethylene insulation is designed for branch and subscriber lines in closed-circuit television, common antenna TV and cable distribution systems below 1GHz. Physically foamed PE insulation supports low attenuation and consistent high-frequency transmission.

  • Closed-circuit and common antenna TV systems below 1GHz.
  • Branch lines, subscriber lines and electronic equipment in cable distribution systems.
  • Cable trays, brackets and tunnels in indoor, wet outdoor or dry environments.
  • PVC or PE outer sheaths are available.
  • Inner conductor can be a single round copper wire or copper-clad aluminium wire.
  • The outer conductor uses dual shielding with aluminium-plastic composite tape and tinned round copper or aluminium-alloy braid.
  • Insulation resistance: at least 5000MΩ·km.
Type Inner conductor Insulation OD Outer conductor Sheath OD Unit weight
SYWV-75-5 1.0±0.02mm 4.8±0.2mm ≤5.8mm ≤7.5mm 46kg/km

  • Characteristic impedance at 200MHz: 72.0-78.0Ω for SYWV-75-5 and 72.5-77.5Ω for SYWV-75-7 and SYWV-75-9.
  • Shielding attenuation at 50MHz, 200MHz and 800MHz: up to 60, 70 and 70dB respectively.
  • Immersion and spark-test voltages vary by type from 2.0 to 8.0kV.
