TKWL-1700 Series Capacitive Level Gauge
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”The TKWL-1700 Series Capacitive Level Gauge is a level transmitter for measuring liquids, oils and solids. With no moving parts, it offers high reliability, high sensitivity, good linearity and stable long-term operation.
It is not affected by water vapor, dust or condensation, and is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, paper and pharmaceutical applications.
Product Principle
Section titled “Product Principle”When installed in a vessel, the capacitive level gauge forms a capacitor. The metal probe acts as one electrode, and the vessel wall or reference electrode acts as the other. As the level rises, the dielectric material between the electrodes changes, causing capacitance change. The RF circuit detects this capacitance change and converts it into a linear current output.

- Electrical interface: M20×1.5, 1/2NPT or special customization.
- Probe material: 304+PTFE, 316L+PTFE or special customization.
- Probe or cable length is specified in millimeters.
