Explosion-proof Electric Contact Pressure Gauge

The Explosion-proof Electric Contact Pressure Gauge is used in hazardous environments with explosive mixtures. It measures pressure or negative pressure of non-corrosive, non-crystalline and non-solidifying media such as copper alloys and ordinary carbon steel.

The gauge works with contact devices and electrical components with corresponding explosion-proof performance, providing automatic control, alarm and remote signal transmission functions.

  • Hazardous environments with explosive mixtures.
  • Pressure or vacuum measurement of non-corrosive media.
  • Automatic pressure control and alarm.
  • Remote pressure signal transmission.
  • Explosion-proof casing structure.
  • Spring tube pressure gauge with electrical contact device.
  • Flameproof or intrinsic safety options.
  • Contact power 10 VA.
  • Radial direct mounting and custom connection options.

The casing uses an explosion-proof structure to prevent internal explosive mixtures from causing external explosions when affected by sparks or arcs. The instrument consists of a spring tube pressure gauge and an electric contact device. When pressure reaches the set value, the movable contact touches the set contact and completes the circuit.

The inlet rubber sealing ring has an inner diameter of 10 mm. The cable used is 500V BX type rubber cable with an outer diameter of 9.8 mm.
