High Pressure Thermocouple (Thermal Resistor)
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”High Pressure Thermocouple (Thermal Resistor) combines armored thermocouple (thermal resistor) elements, a 42 MPa high-pressure RJ flange, and an integrally drilled protection tube. The protection tube uses an integral forging or full-fusion-welded design for medium temperature measurement under high-pressure conditions.
Typical applications include ethylene, propylene, hydrogenation, catalytic, and cracking units in the petrochemical industry, as well as medium temperature measurement inside pipelines.
Applications
Section titled “Applications”- Medium temperature measurement in ethylene units.
- Medium temperature measurement in propylene units.
- Medium temperature measurement in hydrogenation units.
- Medium temperature measurement in catalytic units.
- Medium temperature measurement in cracking units.
- Medium temperature measurement inside petrochemical pipelines.
Product Advantages
Section titled “Product Advantages”- High-pressure process connection: a nominal pressure of 42 MPa and a high-pressure RJ flange.
- Protective structure: an integrally drilled protection tube with an integral forging or full-fusion-welded design is available.
- Sensing element options: K and E thermocouples and Pt100 thermal resistors.
- Different temperature measurement ranges: K is 0-1000 °C, E is 0-800 °C, and Pt100 is -200-450 °C.
- Defined accuracy classes: thermocouples are available in Class I and Class II; Pt100 is available in Class A and Class B.
Installation Method
Section titled “Installation Method”The product uses an RJ flange for high-pressure process connection. The structural diagram shows the sensing element inserted into the measured medium through the protection tube; the actual insertion length and installation dimensions should be confirmed against the site pipeline or unit interface.
