RS485 Communication Cable
Product Overview
Section titled “Product Overview”This RS485 communication cable is designed for Modbus RTU serial communication between DCS, SIS, PLC, CCS, MMS and other systems. Balanced transmission and differential reception support long-distance, multipoint half-duplex communication in industrial and building automation networks.
Applications
Section titled “Applications”- Modbus RTU communication between DCS, PLC, SIS, CCS and MMS systems.
- Industrial and building automation control networks.
- Field links from tens of metres to several kilometres requiring common-mode noise suppression.
Product Features
Section titled “Product Features”- Rated voltage: 300/500V; long-term conductor temperature: 70℃.
- Transmission speed: 10Mbps with half-duplex operation.
- Balanced transmission and differential reception help suppress common-mode interference and detect signals as low as 200mV.
- Metal-tape shielding, metal-wire shielding and steel-tape or steel-wire armour are available.
- Long-term bending radius: no more than 12D for metal-tape-shielded or armoured cables and 8D for metal-wire braided cables.
